Your Relationship with ICA Translation Services

ICA Translation Services is operated by IcaTranslationservices.com. Your use of the services offered on this website (referred to collectively as the “Services” in this document) is subject to the terms of a legal agreement between you and ICA Translation Services. This document explains how the agreement is formed and outlines its terms.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing with ICA Translation Services, your agreement with ICA Translation Services will always include, at a minimum, the terms and conditions set out in this document. It is important that you read this carefully. Collectively, this legal agreement is referred to as the “Terms.”

To use our Services, you must first agree to the Terms. You may not use our Services if you do not accept the Terms. You can accept the Terms by using the Services. By doing so, you acknowledge and agree that ICA Translation Services will treat your use of the Services as acceptance of the Terms from that point onwards.

Warranty Disclaimer

    1. Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit ICA Translation Services’ warranty or liability for losses which may not be lawfully excluded or limited by applicable law. Certain jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of specific warranties or conditions or the limitation of liability for losses caused by negligence, breach of contract, or other circumstances. Only lawful limitations will apply to you, and our liability will be restricted to the maximum extent permitted by law.

1.2. You expressly understand and agree that your use of the Services is at your sole risk. The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.”

1.3. ICA Translation Services, its subsidiaries, and affiliates do not warrant that:

  • Your use of the Services will meet your requirements.
  • Your use of the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
  • Any information obtained through the Services will be accurate or reliable.

1.4. No advice or information, whether oral or written, obtained by you from ICA Translation Services or through the Services, shall create any warranty not expressly stated in the Terms.

  1. Specific Limitations
    1. Any translation provided and certified by ICA Translation Services is based on the translator’s expertise. Customers must verify the translation and may request modifications after receiving the certified translation. Errors identified later will be rectified, and a revised certificate will be issued. ICA Translation Services cannot be held liable for errors in the translated content.

2.2. If translations are used for legal purposes, customers must ensure compliance with relevant requirements. ICA Translation Services provides translations as an intermediary service without specific certifications from regulatory translation bodies. The use of translations for legal purposes is the customer’s sole responsibility.

2.3. Transcription services are delivered based on the clarity of audio provided. While revisions can be requested, ICA Translation Services does not guarantee 100% accuracy for transcription services.

  1. Additional Disclaimers
    1. ICA Translation Services expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Refund Policy

  1. General Refund Terms
    1. A full refund will not be considered once payment is made. Refunds are limited to a maximum of 50% of the payment amount and are subject to approval by ICA Translation Services.

1.2. No partial translations will be delivered once a refund request is initiated.

1.3. Notarization costs are non-refundable once paid.

Delivery Policy

  1. General Delivery Terms
    1. Translation services are delivered via email.

1.2. Certified translations may be posted to the client’s address upon prior arrangement.

1.3. ICA Translation Services does not guarantee postal services (e.g., SingPost). Failed deliveries are the customer’s responsibility and may incur additional costs for reposting.

  1. Customer Responsibilities
    1. Customers must communicate any requested changes clearly and in writing.

2.2. Customers should check their email’s spam/junk folder if delivery is delayed.

Confidentiality

ICA Translation Services will maintain the confidentiality of information explicitly identified by the customer as confidential and use it solely for providing the Services. Without explicit written consent, such information will not be published or disclosed.

Legal Responsibility

By using the Services, you guarantee that:

  • The requested translation does not infringe any copyright or other intellectual property rights.
  • The documents provided will not be used for illegal purposes.

You agree to indemnify ICA Translation Services against claims arising from your misuse of the Services.

Disclaimer

The content on this website is for general informational purposes only. ICA Translation Services makes no representation as to its accuracy, and reliance on such information is at the user’s risk.

Limitation of Liability

Acknowledgement of Liability Limitations
Subject to the overall provisions in Section 2 above, you expressly understand and agree that ICA Translation Services, its subsidiaries, affiliates, and licensors shall not be liable to you for:

(a) Direct, Indirect, or Other Damages:
Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, howsoever caused, and under any theory of liability. This includes, but is not limited to, any loss of profit (whether incurred directly or indirectly), loss of goodwill or business reputation, loss of data, costs of procurement of substitute goods or services, or other intangible losses.

(b) Loss or Damage:
Any loss or damage incurred by you, including but not limited to damages resulting from:

  • Reliance on Content: Any reliance placed by you on the completeness, accuracy, or existence of our translation services.
  • Changes to Services: Any modifications made by ICA Translation Services to the services, or any temporary or permanent cessation of the services (or any features within the services).
  • Data Loss or Corruption: The deletion, corruption, or failure to store any content or communications data transmitted or maintained through your use of the services.
  • Incorrect Information: Your failure to provide ICA Translation Services with accurate or up-to-date information required for the provision of services.

Scope of Liability Limitations


The limitations of liability set forth in Section 8.1 shall apply regardless of whether ICA Translation Services has been advised of, or should have been aware of, the possibility of such losses occurring.

Terms for Hard Copy Delivery

ICA Translation Services provides only digital versions of translated documents. Notarization and collection appointments may be arranged upon request.

Unauthorized Uses of This Website

Unauthorized use of this Website is strictly prohibited. The following activities are expressly unauthorized:

  1. Automated Content Access
    • Using crawlers, bots, spiders, extraction tools, or any automated or manual processes to gather, monitor, or copy content without our explicit permission.
  2. Data Harvesting
    • Collecting information about others, including email addresses, without their explicit consent.
  3. Interference with Operations
    • Disrupting or attempting to disrupt Website operations, including posting unauthorized material or using devices/software to interfere with Website functionality.
  4. Security Violations
    • Circumventing Website security, probing vulnerabilities, hacking, or breaching authentication measures, including those related to the content management system or source code.
  5. Malicious Submissions
    • Uploading or submitting data containing viruses, malware, corrupt files, or other harmful components designed to interfere with Website functionality or associated systems.

    • Overloading Website infrastructure by submitting excessive content or actions that impose an unreasonable or disproportionate load.
